‘We are here to help’

‘Treating people the way we would want to be treated’

Now open on saturday mornings!

Strathmore Osteopathic Clinic has been established in Strathmore/Essendon area for over 40 years and has been at its main location on Woodland Street between the two suburbs of Strathmore and Essendon, since 1979. At the clinic we have been helping relieve achy and painful muscles and joints for many families and individuals of all ages and walks of life. Whether you are into sports, a new mum or suffer from arthritis we cater our treatment to making you feel better.

The Strathmore clinic’s initial founder, was Dr Alistair ‘LAL’ McAlistair who had a good reputation treating and helping people from across the region, before his retirement at 93. The clinic continued this good work under Dr Mark Cooke who trained at the University College of Osteopathy in the UK and who has worked within the clinic for the last 20 years, alongside Dr McAlistair, before taking over the full running of the clinic in 2007. The Clinic welcomed Osteopath Dr Liam Wiemann in 2020, who had completed his training at RMIT in 2019 and Miss Kiara Pisano in 2023.

The clinic treats a wide variety of musculo-skeletal conditions, with our male and female, team of Osteopaths tailoring the treatments to meet your individual needs and your comfort ability. This allows us to achieve a positive outcome quickly and returning you back to the important things in life!

The clinic has always relied on its good name and reputation and hence the majority of our patients are through word of mouth.
